Preparation for the Assessment Test (FSP) or Entrance Exam

The curriculum of the KISK is in accordance with the plan of the Studienkolleg of the TU Berlin and the FU Berlin. We are a private Studienkolleg, therefore the assessment test is taken externally by our students in TU Berlin, FU Berlin and other state Studienkollegs in Germany.

The KISK teachers and specialists prepare the students for the examination subjects of the external assessment exam. After passing the FSP, the graduates can register to study at a university in Germany.

As an alternative to the FSP, our graduates can take an aptitude test at our state-owned German partner university and thus study a bachelor’s degree without an FSP. The KISK teachers and staff will advise the graduates and assist them in their search and registration.

Admission Requirements: Winter Semester 2019

Since the teaching at the Studienkolleg, as well as the external assessment test are conducted in German, a corresponding language level must be proven in addition to the university entrance qualification.

Students who have already successfully completed the B1 language level begin their studies with the Studienkolleg on June 4, 2019.

For students who have already achieved the B2 level, but do not have any of the officially recognized certificates (Goethe-Zertifikat B2, TestDaF [4x TDN 3], telc German B2, DSH-1, DSD 2 or ÖSD), start on July 9th 2019 the Studienkolleg.

If you have one of the officially recognized language certificates, you start with the Studienkolleg on August 13, 2019.

Thus, the knowledge of German, which is needed for the Studienkolleg and the FSP, will be gradually expanded.

Of course it is also possible to volunteer earlier with the Studienkolleg.

Admission to State Universities

After passing the assessment test, you can apply for admission to a German state university with our employees.

The application is generally possible at all universities, as the external FSP, in which our graduates participate, is recognized throughout Germany.

We are happy to assist you with the selection and the application formalities.

The aptitude test of our partner university even allows the selection of 15 state Bachelor programs; without FSP.
